Domaine des Barrenques is tucked away in the Provençal countryside, but getting here is easier than you might think. Whether you fly into Marseille, spend a few days in Paris first, or make a road trip of it, there are several ways to reach us and even make a little European adventure of it along the way.

Arriving in Marseille

Marseille is the closest major city to the Domaine and the easiest gateway into Provence for most international guests.

Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) is served by direct flights from many major European hubs, so guests traveling from farther afield can easily connect through cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, London, Rome or Lisbon before continuing south.

By Car

Marseille Airport → Domaine des Barrenques
Approx. 1 hr 15 min

Rent a car directly at Marseille Provence Airport and drive straight to the Domaine.

This is the quickest and most flexible option, particularly if you plan to explore the surrounding villages, wineries and countryside during your stay.

By Train

Marseille → Bollène–La Croisière → Domaine
Approx. 2 hours by train + 7 minutes by car

Regional TER trains connect Marseille with Bollène–La Croisière, the closest railway station to the Domaine.

The fastest journeys take just under two hours, and several services are direct. Depending on your departure, you may also be able to board at Vitrolles–Aéroport Marseille Provence, the railway station serving Marseille Airport, rather than traveling into Marseille itself.

From Bollène–La Croisière, the Domaine is only 7 minutes away by car. A taxi or local transfer can take you onward to the Domaine or your accommodation.

Best for: Guests who would rather skip the rental car on arrival.

Arriving in Paris

If Paris is part of your trip, there’s no need to fly south again. France’s high-speed rail network makes it easy to continue toward Provence by train.

By Train

Paris Gare de Lyon → Bollène–La Croisière → Domaine
Approx. 3½–4½ hours by train + 7 minutes by car

Trains run from Paris Gare de Lyon to Bollène–La Croisière throughout the day.

The fastest journeys take around 3 hours 20 minutes, while many take closer to 4–4½ hours. Most itineraries combine a high-speed TGV with a regional TER for the final portion of the journey.

Once you reach Bollène–La Croisière, the Domaine is just 7 minutes away by car.

Best for: Guests spending time in Paris before the wedding — and anyone who would rather take the train than connect onto another flight.

By Car

Paris → Domaine des Barrenques
Approx. 6–7 hours

If you’re planning a longer trip through France, renting a car in Paris and driving south is another option.

The drive is roughly 640 km / 400 miles, and takes around six hours before allowing for traffic or stops.

It’s the longest route, but also gives you the freedom to make a road trip of it — and you’ll already have a car once you arrive in Provence.

Best for: Guests planning to explore France along the way.
